The first post

This will be a blog about the things that I make. Fingers are for the things I make directly with my hands, paws for the training and playing I do with our dogs. My husband and I both compete in dog agility, we have 3 border collies and a papillon. Last year we had our little Mr. Baby.

Today I have made the carpet in the dining room and parlor (aka the dogs room) as clean as I can with our Hoover upright “steam” cleaner. I have never seen any steam.

More to the point, I have been working on a sweater for the newest baby that I know. She is 8 days old today.

It is knit with Adriafil Knitcol washable wool yarn (colorway 044). I am using the Buttons Cardigan #606 pattern by Cabin Fever. I have only ever knitted raglan, top down sweaters so this is nothing new for me. I chose this pattern because I liked the collar. I would like to try a sweater with sewn in sleeves next.

It’s fetch o’clock.
